Field reports on Incursion Red River
Description
Incursion Red River's enemy count has a maximum setting. Part 6 finds out what happens when it gets used.
Two maps, two completely different problems. The Bunker goes first destroying food supplies and planting surveillance bugs inside an enemy base running at maximum AI density. The tight corridors that made the Bunker dangerous in Part 3 become something far more oppressive when every room has more soldiers than the last run encountered in an entire deployment. The Solarint AI at max count doesn't just increase the pressure it removes the breathing room that made earlier engagements survivable.
Map Delta follows with a private militia contract: three enemy encampments cleared in open jungle terrain. The shift from confined corridors to open ground changes how the max enemy count expresses itself. Instead of chokepoints and corners, it's sight lines and flanking angles AI that uses the space rather than filling it.
This is Incursion Red River 1.3 at its most unforgiving setting. Both maps completed. Both objectives done. Neither one cleanly.
