Gray Zone Warfare 0.4 Spearhead, and Pha Lang is doing its best to end the series early. We're back finishing the remaining starter missions in the opening town, and this episode does not go smoothly. The standout moment is the Golden Boy assassination. Rather than pushing in for a messy frontal assault, we hang back and let another squad do the dirty work, then slip in for the clean stealth kill while they're still clearing out. It's the kind of play GZW rewards when you read the situation right. But Lamang always collects its debt. A brutal neck shot wipes our kit and sends us back to base with nothing. What follows is the revenge run, gearing back up and pushing straight back in to reclaim what was taken. This episode is a proper rollercoaster of the best and worst Gray Zone Warfare has to offer in 0.4 Spearhead, and it sets up the Airfield push coming in the next episode.
