The plan kept being clean. The execution kept being a disaster. Somewhere in the middle of it, I realised I was having the best time I'd had with a game in months. This isn't the polished tactical run. It's the messy, honest one, the version where the same mistakes land in slightly different ways, the frustration builds into something genuinely funny, and the gap between what I thought I could do and what Operator was actually going to let me do kept widening. Right up until it didn't. I thought I'd actually done it. Operator had other ideas.
