Incursion Red River vs Gray Zone Warfare is the question I get more than any other, and the honest answer is that I love both. I play them both on this channel. So instead of another side-by-side, I tried something different: I played Incursion Red River like it was Gray Zone Warfare. In GZW you get a huge open world where you can roam, take missions at your own pace and fight whoever crosses your path. So I dropped into Incursion's Quarry map with two missions and a shopping list of supplies for an HQ upgrade, and then I refused to extract. I just moved from position to position, taking on everything that came at me. And this is the bit that got me: Incursion Red River's AI actually HUNTS you. Turn the aggression up and they push, they flank, and they never let up. I fought well over 100 enemies and it never once felt cheap or random. Which brings me to my honest take: this is exactly the aggressive PvE AI that Gray Zone Warfare needs, instead of stray bullets catching you from nowhere.
