I upgraded my weapons, tried to act like a good samaritan for once, and went out to redeem myself after starting too many wars with the wrong people. Tasks, bounty jobs, downed stalkers who needed a hand, solo PvE free roam that actually lets you play the Zone like a person instead of a problem. Then a mission pulled me back into a fight with that same massive faction, and the A-Life chaos is why this game still feels alive.
