STALKER 2 Is the Best Open World Survival Game Right Now | STALKER 2

STALKER 2 might be the best open world survival game out right now, and I don't even play it the way you're supposed to. No story, no cutscenes, no dialogue, I just head out into the Zone and explore the most dangerous corners of it to see what happens. This episode picks up right in the middle of the ambush that ended the last one: a relentless, wave-after-wave firefight I barely dragged myself out of. Then the walk home turned biblical. The sky went blood red and started firing lightning into the ground like the world itself wanted me dead one of the most incredible emissions I've seen in this game. After a loot runthat turned up a custom pistol, a Viper and a shotgun, I pushed into a far deadlier stretch of the Zone: better gear, much nastier enemies. A base that opened fire from every angle, a basement where a radioactive mutant hunted me through the dark, and a camp full of people who really didn't want me resting there. Played as open world survival exploration, STALKER 2 honestly feels like the old Far Cry free roam days just a lot more radioactive. This is the most fun I've had in the Zone yet.
