Description
Gray Zone Warfare's 0.4.2.0 visibility system is live, and I took it straight to Fort Narith to find out if it actually makes you dangerous or just gives you a prettier way to die.
The new player visibility HUD shows you in real time how detectable you are to AI enemies based on vegetation, lighting, weather, and movement speed. Fort Narith is normally where I get humbled, but understanding your own visibility changes the way you approach every single push in GZW's PvE combat. This raid went somewhere I didn't expect.
The AI in 0.4.2 is noticeably sharper too, enemies reposition more aggressively, use smaller cover, and punish mistakes harder than base 0.4. The visibility system doesn't make Fort Narith easy. It makes it readable. That's a completely different thing.
Midway through the compound clear, an unexpected boss encounter drops a B AK-74N Arkady burst weapon, one of the best pieces of loot I've pulled in Gray Zone Warfare. Completely unplanned.
This is Part 10 of the Spearhead series, following full 0.4 progression on Lamang Island. Playing GZW right now? Drop a comment, how is the visibility system changing the way you play?
