STALKER 2 Free Roam Is Everything I Wanted

The more I play STALKER 2, the more it pulls me in so this time I just kept going, deeper into the Zone than I've ever pushed, with no plan beyond seeing what was out there. Turns out the Zone has a long memory, and I very quickly remembered why making enemies of nearly everyone was a terrible idea. This is a laid-back, free-roam STALKER 2 run: exploring, stumbling into new places, taking on a few side missions, and testing out some proper new hardware a custom SVD sniper and the game's take on the AS Val. It's the kind of session that reminds me why STALKER 2 has become one of my favourite games to just exist in, and it's only getting better with every update. Things stayed fun right up until I went hunting a secret loot stash and the Zone started teleporting me around the map until I finally admitted defeat. Solo, PvE, no squad just me and some increasingly bad decisions.
